Polyester Staple Fibre

Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) Supplier in India

VSVK Group supplies polyester staple fibre (PSF) to spinning mills, non-woven producers and filling/stuffing manufacturers across India. PSF is a polymer/textile raw material made from polyester (PET) and cut into short “staple” lengths so it can be spun, blended or used as fibrefill. Unlike a single-formula chemical, PSF is defined by its physical specifications — and those specifications, not the product name, determine what the buyer actually needs.

As a Kanpur-based sourcing partner operating since 1982, VSVK supplies PSF against confirmed specifications, so buyers receive fibre matched to their process rather than a generic offer.

Every PSF enquiry should state these, because they change the product entirely:

  • Virgin or recycled (RPSF): virgin PSF (from PET chips / PTA+MEG) is typically cleaner and more consistent; recycled PSF (from PET flakes) is a cost-effective, sustainable option. Both are widely used in India.
  • Denier: the fibre’s linear density — finer deniers (e.g., ~1.2–3D) suit spinning; coarser deniers suit filling and non-wovens.
  • Cut length (mm): shorter lengths suit spun-yarn systems; longer lengths suit fibrefill and non-wovens.
  • Solid or hollow: hollow fibre traps air for loft and insulation (ideal for fillings); solid fibre suits spinning and many non-wovens.
  • Finish — siliconized or non-siliconized: siliconized (slick) fibre gives a soft, smooth hand for premium fillings; non-siliconized suits bonding and other uses. Trade terms include HCS/HSC (hollow conjugated siliconized) and HCNS (hollow conjugate non-siliconized).
  • Lustre and colour: semi-dull or bright; raw white, optical white, black or dope-dyed shades.

VSVK does not pre-assume any of these. Denier, cut length, virgin/recycled status, solid/hollow, finish, lustre and colour are confirmed as buyer specification requirements at enquiry.

  • Spinning: fine-denier solid PSF is spun into polyester spun yarn for weaving and knitting (often blended with cotton/viscose).
  • Non-wovens: PSF is a core input for non-woven fabrics — interlinings, geotextiles, wipes, filter media and more.
  • Filling / stuffing (fibrefill): hollow/siliconized PSF fills pillows, cushions, quilts, duvets, mattresses and soft toys, where loft and resilience matter.
  • Insulation & wadding: thermal and acoustic wadding, including automotive interiors.
  • Other industrial uses: scrub pads and specialty applications.

VSVK acts as a supplier, distributor and sourcing partner — not a fibre manufacturer. For PSF buyers that means one contact for spec confirmation, documentation and delivery, supported by warehousing, an own transport fleet and pan-India reach. PSF is typically supplied in compressed bales; bale weight and packing are confirmed per order. This suits spinning mills, non-woven units and home-furnishing/filling manufacturers seeking reliable repeat supply of correctly specified fibre.
